" The Four Gospels and Portraits of Christ "

Gospel is derived from the Anglo-Saxon, godspell, meaning "good tidings," and is a literal translation of the Greek evangelion, which meant originally a reward for bringing good news, and the "story concerning God." The purpose of these four is to create faith in Christ, for those who may or may not be believers.
