I have read a majority of the material released on the subject of Revelation. To predict its meaning is a very dangerous and very humbling experience if you are not one hundred percent accurate. For years I have not had the experience of a church minister or pastor, or a church leader read the words of this prophecy from beginning to end. There are some who would read it to completion, whether their interpretation is right or wrong, or even biased to one world view. Although in actuality most will stop at the end of the fifth chapter where it is safe and understandable, or even stagger or skip the controversial chapters for a lesser study. Although Revelation and it’s author tells us to do otherwise as stated in the opening verses.
Rev. 1:3 "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that heareth the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
Revelation Chapter One through Five were covered in Chapter Six "Church Ages" of this book.
So in the following pages I will read it to you from chapter 6 through chapter 22. I have added one extra special treat to this section, which is the translation of the English version back to the Greek word or phrase that it represents as per ‘The Expanded Vine’s’ expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, a special edition edited by John R. Kohlenberger III. Also where necessary comments from James Strong’s new "Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance Of The Bible." The original text was written in Greek by John while he was in exile on the island of Patmos. It is refreshing to read it this way, especially if you are like me and tired of what everyone else tells you its means.
Another thing added is the column arrangement of the six world views of men on what the Revelation verses mean. Anyone of these views could be accurate if read through complete and compared, as well as the one presented in this book in relation to the Age of Aquarius.
These views were researched by a friend and co-worker Jake Van Dyke. Although all of mankind’s view could be inaccurate, please subjectively review them for their worth and acknowledge the complexity of this subject. These six world views are shown below in columns with a description of content or general belief of each one.
Someone once told me that predicting the meanings of Revelation is like shooting a rabbit with a bow and arrow. If you shoot your arrow too early you will miss your mark, and if you shoot it too late you still missed. Please forgive me for my inserts in the sixth chapter, but I felt that in context with this book that they were appropriate here. In other words I have shot my arrow. I have finally predicted a generation. Most of all I beseech you to notice that the verse numbers of Revelation 6 (the first five seals) and the last digit of the cyclic years that I predict match very closely up to verse 6:17 which is an event that takes place in heaven. The same is true about verse 6:1 where the Lamb opens the first seal.
Well, here goes. Enjoy!
Some call this a prophecy that the six days of creation represent that all things will be completed and redeemed at the close of six thousand years. This chapter is the breaking of the seals and the opening of the scroll (title deed to earth).
It is interesting to see the following side by side as a chronological order from the mouth of Jesus himself. These will be presented throughout this chapter in sequence at the intervals that they comply to.
The grand cycle 25,920 years divided by 12 equals 2160 years divided by 30 degrees = 72 years.
