Joe Biden has continued to discuss a possible Russian invasion in his talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.    The White House released a statement Sunday, confirming Biden spoke with Zelensky earlier in the day and reassured Ukraine of U.S. support if Russia were to invade.
Biden also promised Ukraine support by NATO and the OSCE.    This comes as the White House, European allies and congressional lawmakers have expressed concerns over a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine.
“I think that it would require enormous sanctions on Russia to deter what appears to be a very likely Russian invasion of Ukraine again,” said Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).    “And I think our allies need to be solidly on board with it.    Russia needs to understand we are united in this.”
However, Moscow has denied reports of a potential invasion.    Russian officials are demanding NATO personnel be withdrawn from Ukraine and they are asking the U.S. to halt NATO expansion in Eastern Europe.

1/3/2022 Mexico President Says He Sought Assange Pardon From Trump, Renews Asylum Offer

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said he had sought a pardon for Julian Assange from former U.S. President Donald Trump before he left office last year and repeated his offer of asylum for the Wikileaks founder on Monday.
Last month, the Australian-born Assange moved closer to facing criminal charges https://www.reuters.com/world/us/united-states-wins-appeal-over-extradition-wikileaks-founder-assange-2021-12-10 in the United States for one of the biggest leaks of classified information after Washington won an appeal over his extradition in an English court.
U.S. authorities accuse Assange of 18 counts relating to WikiLeaks’ release of confidential U.S. military records and diplomatic cables which they said had put lives in danger.
Lopez Obrador reiterated the asylum offer he had made for Assange a year ago https://www.reuters.com/article/us-wikileaks-assange-mexico-idUSKBN2991RW, and said that before Trump was replaced as U.S. president by Joe Biden last January, he had written him a letter recommending that Assange be pardoned.
Mexico did not receive a reply to the letter, Lopez Obrador told a regular government news conference.
“It would be a sign of solidarity, of fraternity to allow him asylum in the country that Assange decides to live in, including Mexico,” Lopez Obrador said.
If granted asylum in Mexico, Assange would not be able to interfere in the affairs of other countries, and would not represent any sort of threat, Lopez Obrador added.
More hurdles remain before Assange could be sent to the United States after an odyssey which has taken him from teenage hacker in Melbourne to years holed up in the Ecuadorean embassy in London and then incarcerated in a maximum-security prison.
Supporters of the 50-year-old Assange cast him as an anti-establishment hero who has been persecuted by the United States for exposing U.S. wrongdoing and double-dealing across the world from Afghanistan and Iraq to Washington.

1/3/2022 Reports: Biden’s Immigration Amnesty Failed In 2021 by OAN Newsroom
(Wilfredo Lee/AP)
Joe Biden’s proposals of amnesty for illegal immigrants are found to have failed throughout the past year.    According to recent reports, Biden and top Democrats promised to quickly pass immigration amnesty laws when they took control of U.S. government last January.
However, the proposed U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021 failed to garner potential support by 60 senators in the equally split upper chamber.    In addition to this, 2 million immigrants reportedly entered the U.S. illegally last year, in turn, growing dysfunction in the U.S. immigration system.
Despite this, Democrats have insisted on adding a sweeping immigration amnesty as part of their social spending agenda.
“And the entire purpose of the hearing was to draft an amnesty plan onto to this massive omnibus spending package,” explained Republican Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.).    “But we proved to all the American people and anyone who care to pay attention to this that our colleagues have an unlimited insatiable appetite for amnesty.”
Immigration analysts have also said an amnesty bill is deemed not viable, legally or financially, amid the Biden border crisis.

1/3/2022 Jan. 6 Committee Seeks To Expand Govt. Authority To Spy On Citizens by OAN Newsroom

The Democrat-controlled January 6 committee is proposing a new expansion to government surveillance programs.    In an interview on Sunday, committee chairman Benny Thompson (D-Miss.) said the Democrat panel will recommend new legislation to boost government spying on citizens to prevent future protests at the U.S. Capitol.
The Mississippi Democrat claimed broader surveillance is necessary to ensure security of the U.S. government.    Thompson also denounced the January 6 protests, adding similar events must never happen again.
“As you know, it was clear that we were not apprised that something would happen,” he stated,     “But, for the most part, it was the worst kept secret in America that people were coming to Washington, and the potential for coordination and what we saw was there.    So, we want to make sure that never happens again.”
Thompson’s remarks sparked controversy with critics saying government surveillance is unconstitutional while the right to peaceful political protests is guaranteed under the Bill of Rights.

1/3/2022 U.S. Capitol Police Chief Says Force Remains Short-Staffed by OAN Newsroom

Chief of U.S. Capitol Police, Thomas Manger said the force continues to face staffing shortages.    During an interview Sunday, he said more than 130 officers have left the organization either through retirement or resignation since January 6.
“When we look at the events of the 6th and we saw that operational planning failed, there were intelligence failures, those things have been addressed, those things have been largely fixed at this point,” Chief Manger stated.    “The one thing that we have not been able to fix, so to speak, are the staffing issues.”
A COVID shutdown at the National Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2020 resulted in fewer trainees and the police chief also noted an increase in threats against Congress.
“We’ve had to really shift the focus of just doing the typical job that we would do normally and put more resources toward investigating those complaints,” Chief Manger continued.    “Ensuring that members of     Congress are safe, not only when they are at the Capitol, but when they are traveling within their home districts as well.”
The Capitol Police Chief said the force is about 400 officers short of where they need to be, adding it’s a critical issue.    He assured a long-term plan for this fiscal year is in store to put more than 280 officers through the academy.
Still, he said the fact that Capitol Police now have the authority to call the National Guard out in case of an emergency is a big improvement and will be beneficial.    He added, it would have been able to prevent something like January 6 from happening.

COVID-19 misinformation policy, according to a statement from the company. (AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite, File)
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga) has been permanently removed from Twitter, in turn, reigniting calls for an end to political censorship.    The congresswoman released a powerful message in response to her ban.    The Georgia Republican took to Telegram Sunday, saying Big Tech will not stop the truth “from being spread far and wide.”
Taylor Greene also said Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Vice President Kamala Harris are bailing out violent Black Lives Matter activists and the Democrat propaganda machine in spreading lies about the Russia hoax, but Twitter does not mind.
The congresswoman was banned after demanding congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) apologize to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) for trying to smear him.    Taylor Greene added, Twitter is an enemy to America and it can’t handle the truth.
Meanwhile, investigative reporter Glenn Greenwald is denouncing Twitter’s move to ban Greene.    In a series of tweets Sunday, Greenwald said Twitter banning a duly-elected U.S. representative is an abusive, dangerous and ill-conceived act.    He stressed, Democrats and liberals are relying on the corporate power of Big Tech to silence their political opponents.
Greenwald added, Twitter bans of U.S. officials gives a bad example to autocratic regimes overseas who will increase crackdowns on dissent in a similar manner.    He also said this union of state and corporate power endorsed by Democrats is in clear violation of the U.S. Constitution.

1/4/2022 Lightfoot Blames Chicago Crime Surge On Judicial System by OAN Newsroom

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot appears to be placing the blame for the city’s high crime rates on the courts and prosecutors.
In an interview with CNBC on Monday, Lightfoot accused the city’s judicial system of contributing to Chicago’s’ rising crime.    She claimed prosecutors weren’t doing enough to keep violent offenders off the street.
This comes as Chicago saw a record 797 homicides under Lightfoot’s watch in 2021, which is the most of any U.S. city and the highest figure nationally in more than 25 years.
“We’ve got to do more to push our courts and our prosecutors to hold dangerous violent people accountable,” stated the Chicago mayor.    “We have 2,300 dangerous violent people, people charged with murder, attempted murder, kidnapping and the like, that are out on bond.    That makes no sense whatsoever.    And what it does is destabilizes and makes our community less safe.    So, I’m going to keep pushing our county partners, who control the courts and the jail and the prosecutor, to step up and do their part.”
Lightfoot also called on residents and community leaders to do their part to curb crime in stating everyone has to have ownership over community safety.

on coronavirus stimulus legislation. Andrew Harnik/AP photo
According to former Trump White House adviser c, the 45th president should be exonerated of any violence that took place on Capitol Hill on January 6.    In an interview Tuesday, he defended Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn election results.
Navarro noted that in order for his plan to go forward “peace and calm” was required in the nation’s capitol.    He pointed out the plan involved over 100 GOP lawmakers ready to challenge results in six states they believed were rife with alleged election fraud.    He then asserted the plan was completely legal and constitutional.
“We believed if the votes were sent back to those battleground states and looked at again, there would be enough concern amongst the legislators that most or all of those states would de-certify the election,” explained the former White House adviser.    “That would throw the election to the House of Representatives…all of this was, again, in the lanes legally prescribed by the Constitution.”
Navarro also expressed disappointment in then-Vice President Mike Pence for refusing to not certify election results while calling Pence’s inaction a betrayal of Trump.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – The United States on Wednesday began returning migrants to the Mexican city of Tijuana in an restart of a Trump-era program that forces asylum seekers to wait for U.S. court hearings in Mexico, Mexican authorities and the U.N. migration agency said.
The United States and Mexico last month agreed to relaunch the controversial scheme known as Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), in keeping with a U.S. federal court order.
U.S. President Joe Biden, a Democrat, has struggled to reverse many hardline immigration policies put in place by his Republican predecessor, Donald Trump.
Biden ended MPP soon after his inauguration in January as he sought to pursue what he called a more humane approach to immigration.    But a federal judge ruled Biden’s move did not follow proper procedure, and in August ordered MPP reinstated.
The program first resumed in December at the international crossing connecting El Paso, Texas, to Ciudad Juarez.    More than 200 people have been returned to Mexico so far under the relaunch of MPP, according to the U.N.’s International Organization of Migration (OIM).
Two migrants were returned to Tijuana, across from California, on Wednesday with future appointments in U.S. courts, an official with OIM told Reuters.
The migrant rights advocacy group Al Otro Lado told Reuters the two men were Colombian nationals.
Neither U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) nor Mexico’s immigration agency immediately responded to requests for comment.
The United Nations’ refugee agency and advocacy groups have criticized the restart of the Trump-era policy, warning migrants face the risk of kidnapping, rape, and extortion in dangerous Mexican border towns.
Under the original 2019 program, some 70,000 migrants seeking asylum were forced to wait weeks and sometimes years in Mexico for a U.S. court date instead of being allowed to await their hearings in the United States.

1/6/2022 Garland pledges pursuit of riot suspects at ‘any level’ - AG facing pressure to be more aggressive in action by Kevin Johnson and Josh Meyer, USA TODAY
Attorney General Merrick Garland pledged Wednesday to pursue the perpetrators of the Jan. 6 assault at “any level,” saying federal authorities would “follow the facts wherever they lead.”
“The Justice Department remains committed to holding all Jan. 6th perpetrators, at any level, accountable under law – whether they were present that day or were otherwise criminally responsible for the assault on our democracy,” Garland said in a speech. “We will follow the facts wherever they lead.”
Garland faces mounting pressure from lawmakers to take more aggressive action in the Jan. 6 inquiry, including some who urged that former President Donald Trump be held accountable for inciting the attack.     The attorney general did not refer to Trump or other former administration officials, but he acknowledged mounting public sentiment.
“Because Jan. 6th was an unprecedented attack on the seat of our democracy, we understand that there is broad public interest in our investigation,” Garland said.    “We understand that there are questions about how long the investigation will take and about what exactly we are doing.    Our answer is, and will continue to be, the same answer we would give with respect to any ongoing investigation: as long as it takes and whatever it takes for justice to be done – consistent with the facts and the law. ... I understand that this may not be the answer some are looking for.    But we will and we must speak through our work.    Anything else jeopardizes the viability of our investigations and the civil liberties of our citizens.”
Garland referred to a growing and dangerous polarization in the country, where Americans have expressed deep concerns about the future of the nation’s democracy, some suggesting that violence against the government can be justified.
Across partisan lines, more than 8 in 10 Republicans, Democrats and independents say they are worried about the future of America’s democracy, a USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll found.

1/6/2022 Ukraine Opposition Blasts President As Court Freezes Predecessor’s Assets by Pavel Polityuk and Natalia Zinets

KYIV (Reuters) - Ukraine’s pro-Western opposition accused President Volodymyr Zelenskiy of autocratic behaviour on Thursday after a court froze the assets of Zelenskiy’s predecessor Petro Poroshenko and two television channels that once belonged to him.
The asset seizures were part of a formal investigation into whether Poroshenko committed high treason by financing Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine while in office in 2014-2015.
He has denied the allegations. Poroshenko’s European Solidarity party called the ruling by Kyiv’s Pechersk court “illegal, unjust” and designed to silence opposition to Zelenskiy’s rule.
Zelenskiy has not commented on the court’s decisions but previously denied wanting to wield influence over state prosecutors or the judiciary.
“The current statements from Mr. Poroshenko’s party are not surprising,” Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser in Zelenskiy’s office, said in written comments to Reuters.
“They need to say something loud to distract attention and not explain Poroshenko’s de facto flight abroad from investigative actions,” he said.    “The status of ex-president does not give the privilege to ignore investigative actions and court hearings.”
The court also froze the assets of two television channels, Channel 5 and Priamyi kanal, which Poroshenko owned until November before putting them into a holding company.
“I’m not a lawyer, but as far as I understand, arrest does not mean closure.    The channels continue to operate,” Zelenskiy’s spokesman Sergii Nykyforov said.    “Freedom of speech has not suffered,” he said in written comments.
The row hit as Ukraine is scrambling to secure international support in its standoff with Moscow, after sounding the alarm about a build-up of tens of thousands of Russian troops near its borders.
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s administration denies planning a major military offensive against Ukraine but has demanded security guarantees from the West, including a halt to NATO’s eastward expansion.    U.S. and Russian officials meet for talks next week.
“…the government, instead of consolidating Ukrainian society to oppose Putin, is fuelling internal confrontation.    Thus it recklessly and irresponsibly weakens the front against Russian aggression,” said a statement by Poroshenko’s party.
“Zelenskiy, like other autocrats, is mistaken in believing that the seizure of assets and accounts will create insurmountable obstacles to the activities of the opposition.”
Last month, prosecutors asked a Ukrainian court to arrest Poroshenko with the possibility of bail set at 1 billion hryvnia ($37 million).
Poroshenko has been outside Ukraine since late December and has not yet commented on the ruling.    He has said that he plans to come back to Ukraine on Jan. 17.
“The court decided to seize the suspect’s property, which belongs to him on the right of ownership,” the Prosecutor General’s office said in a statement.
A confectionary tycoon and one of Ukraine’s richest citizens, Poroshenko was elected as head of a pro-Western government after the 2014 Maidan street protests ousted his Russian-backed predecessor.
Zelenskiy beat Poroshenko in a landslide election in 2019 on a ticket to tackle corruption and curb the influence of oligarchs in the ex-Soviet country.
Zelenskiy’s party passed a law last year, banning oligarchs from financing political parties or owning television stations.    Opposition parties said the law concentrated too much power in Zelenskiy’s hands.
Poroshenko said in November he had been forced to sell the TV channels due to the new law.    Both TV stations on Thursday published comments from Poroshenko’s allies that criticised the court decision.

Republican lawmakers are ramping up pressure on the Biden administration to stop the harsh treatment of January 6 defendants.    They are also calling on the administration to address the evidence of foul play before and during the capitol protest.
“Americans need to wake up and understand that people are being tortured.    Tortured!” exclaimed Joseph McBride, attorney for January 6 detainees.    “Are you okay with people being tortured five miles from the White House right now?
The Department of Justice is advancing the prosecutions of January 6 protesters despite mounting legal challenges and evidence of foul play.    In a statement Wednesday, Attorney General Merrick Garland vowed to punish hundreds of protesters regardless of whether they played an active role in the demonstration or even if they were not on Capitol Hill that day.
“The Justice Department remains committed to holding all January 6 perpetrators at any level accountable under law, whether they were present that day or were otherwise criminally responsible for the assault on our democracy,” he stated.
Garland appeared to suggest the supporters of President Donald Trump are solely responsible for clashes at the U.S. Capitol, echoing the rhetoric of Democrat-controlled January 6 Committee.    However, the Justice Department has yet to clarify the reports of federal agents and far-left operatives who Republican lawmakers say incited violence at the protest.
While the debate continues of what actually happened on January 6, around 1,400 protesters have been detained in connection with the protest, according to a Daily Caller estimate.    Federal investigators have tried to accuse some of the defendants of “domestic terrorism” despite admitting hardly any of their actions meet the legal definition of terrorism.
Republican lawmakers, who have looked into the matter, are sounding the alarm.
“Here’s the thing, what’s going on is we have inhumane treatment of people who have not been convicted of a crime,” said Rep. Andy Biggs, (R-Ariz.).    “These folks are being held in pre-trial detention.”
Attorneys for January 6 detainees have said their clients face inhumane detention conditions, psychological pressure and even torture.    They argued the federal government’s actions violate the U.S. Constitution and the international law on human rights.
The argument for political motives behind miserable detention conditions is further reinforced by reports of a political bias that some prison guards have shown by expressing anti-Trump and hard left views.
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) are her Republican colleagues are now investigating the evidence of suspected political persecution taking place on U.S. soil.
Republican lawmakers are now demanding a congressional hearing on the mistreatment and torture of January 6 detainees as well as a truly bipartisan probe into events at the U.S. Capitol.    All the while, Garland is touting criminal charges against 325 people in a federal probe that is deemed “increasingly political” going into its second year.

The 45th president slammed the current administration for thrusting America into uncertainty.    In a statement Thursday, Donald Trump said the nation has lost its confidence due to inept leadership.
He then accused the Biden administration of giving the U.S. "open borders, COVID incompetence, loss of energy independence, a military in chaos, rampant inflation, corrupt elections and lack of world standing."    His comments come after a recent poll found a majority of Americans feel democracy in the country is failing.
According to a poll released Wednesday by YouGov and The Economist, 60 percent of Americans believe Joe Biden is a weak leader.    A whopping 41 percent of respondents described Biden as a "very weak leader" while 19 percent said he is "somewhat weak."
Of the 1500 adults surveyed, 44 percent said Biden is not honest and trustworthy.    This comes as Biden's disapproval rating hit a new high in December with 56 percent of voters saying they disapprove of his handling of the country.
Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki claimed Biden is working too hard and he needs more time-off despite his public appearances being relatively rare.    In a press briefing Wednesday, she told reporters.
Biden does not have any free time and he "doesn't have any time to think."
Psaki continued by suggesting although Biden is mostly staying out of the public eye, he's working with his policy teams "behind the scenes."    This comes amid rampant speculation of Biden's cognitive decline as well as concerns he's taken too many vacations in recent months.
Psaki, however, claimed Biden is simply really overworked.    Her comments come as Republican lawmakers have criticized the Biden administration over its incompetence and a lack of response to several crises sweeping America over the past year.

WASHINGTON - President Joe Biden accused Donald Trump and his supporters of holding a "dagger at the throat of democracy" in a forceful speech Thursday marking the anniversary of the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol.
He warned that though it didn't succeed, the insurrection remains a serious threat to America's system of government.
Biden's criticism was blistering of the defeated president whom he blamed for the assault that has fundamentally changed Congress and the nation, and raised global concerns about the future of American democracy.    "For the first time in our history, a president not just lost an election, he tried to prevent the peaceful transfer of power as a violent mob breached the Capitol," Biden said.    "You can't love your country only when you win."

1/11/2022 NYC To Allow Non-Citizens To Vote In Municipal Elections by OAN Newsroom

New York City Mayor Eric Adams approved legislation giving more than 800,000 non-citizens access to the ballot box.    The Democrat allowed the measure to go into law Sunday and unless a judge stops it’s implementation, the city’s non-U.S. citizens will now have the chance to vote in municipal elections.
This includes Green Card holders and recipients of Deferred Action who have lived in the Big Apple for at least 30 days and those authorized to work in the U.S.    He said despite initial concerns, he believes its critical residents of a local municipality have the ability to choose who governs them.
“I believe that people who are here during COVID, our legal residents, they did not flee the city, they stayed here, they provided a service,” Adams stated.    “My concerns around the 30 days, I sat down with my colleagues, we came to a good understanding, and I think it’s more important to see the bill move forward and allow it to happen.”
While NYC joins more than a dozen other communities in the U.S. allowing non-citizens to vote, the Republican delegation of New York has not held back in sharing their opposition of the measure.    They say it’s a “dangerous attack” on election integrity and unconstitutional, previously stating they would pursue every legal action to see the law struck down.
Meanwhile, this is not the first controversial decision the newly appointed mayor has made during his first week.    Adams recently hired his younger brother, Bernard Adams, as deputy commissioner to the NYPD who he says is best suited for the job citing an increase in white supremacy and hate crimes.
“My brother has a community affairs background, the balance that I need,” stated the mayor.    “He understands law enforcement, he was a 20-year retired veteran from the police department and I need someone that I trust around me during these times for my security.    And I trust my brother deeply.”

A renowned virologist commented on the Project Veritas disclosures of the origins of COVID-19. MMR vaccine inventor Dr. Robert Malone said the first ‘Expose Fauci‘ report by Project Veritas appears to be valid.     During an interview on Tuesday, Dr. Malone said DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) documents suggest COVID-19 is a manmade virus, but Anthony Fauci’s NIH (National Institutes of Health) has apparently attempted to cover-up its involvement.
This comes as the search for truth behind the seemingly never-ending pandemic is heating up.
Meanwhile, U.S. Marine Corp Major and former DARPA Fellow, Joseph Murphy had some words to the American public and provided a written statement to Project Veritas.    The statement read:
“To those seeking answers I offer encouragement.    There are good people striving for the truth, working together in and out of government, and they success.    To those that withhold, I pray for you.    Find the moral courage to come forward. Don’t lie and be our legacy to posterity. People will forgive.    A commitment to truth is in the heart of this nation.”
Earlier this week, Project Veritas released a series of military documents claiming they are the latest round of evidence showing Fauci was involved with gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Military Documents about Gain of Function contradict Fauci testimony under oath #ExposeFauci.

7th through the 30th in Arizona, which had a record number of early voters. (Photo by Courtney Pedroza/Getty Images)
Arizona oversight group We the People Alliance released video footage showing electoral violations by poll workers.    The group says the footage shows Arizona election officials pulling mail-in ballot envelopes from the trash and putting them into drawers.
Poll workers are also seen taking pictures of ballots, walking with cell phones into unauthorized areas and using flash drives where they were not supposed to be used. We the People Alliance explained that these documented violations add to the mounting legal challenges to election outcomes in Arizona.
This comes amid ongoing probe by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich into suspected election fraud in his state.    State Sen. Sonny Borrelli (R-Aiz.). commented on the matter.
“They are investigating and I spoke to the investigators,” he stated.    “Several other people spoke to the investigators.    This is not over by a long shot on that investigation part.    We need to let them do their job.    They have to make sure that they do it right.    And if they find something the evidence has got to to be concrete for them to take to court.    So that’s that aspect.”
We the People Alliance also said election workers are seen destroying voting equipment in these videos after leaving it unattended for days.

New evidence implicates Education Secretary Miguel Cardona in the labeling of concerned parents as domestic terrorists.    In a September email that was recently released, National School Board Association interim CEO Chip Slaven sent a letter to the White House at Cardona’s request.
The letter asked the Justice Department to use the Patriot Act against supposed domestic terrorists showing up at school board meetings.    This follows evidence that Attorney General Merrick Garland drafted a government memo based on the letter, in turn, calling into question how the administration plans to deal with oppositional parents.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration is planning to send millions of additional COVID-19 tests to schools nationwide amid the surge of the Omicron variant.    The administration announced Wednesday, it will be providing 5 million rapid tests and 5 million additional PCR tests to schools each month.
The White House claims the additional tests will help schools stay open and sustain testing programs in accordance with CDC guidelines.    According to the White House, 96 percent of the nations schools are open for in-person learning.

The Supreme Court struck down Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for businesses with 100 or more employees.    The major ruling came down Thursday, alongside a separate decision from the justices to uphold the mandate for health care workers at federally funded facilities.
The OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) mandate for large businesses partially took effect Monday and has faced legal challenges since Biden’s announcement several months ago.    On Thursday, the Supreme Court decided that mandate is unconstitutional and blocked it on a federal level.
As expected, in a split ruling, the Supreme Court upheld the HHS (Health and Human Services) mandate for health care workers.

The White House is defending Joe Biden’s push for voting rights reform amid mounting GOP scrutiny over his recent speech in Georgia.    During a briefing Tuesday, Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Biden’s remarks clearly struck a nerve and dismissed claims the address was offensive to those who disagree with him.
“The majority of the American public elected the president to do hard things and to fight for hard things, including fighting for issues that may feel like an uphill battle,” she stated.    “But they’re vitally important to protecting fundamental rights of the American public.”
The press secretary also said it’s disappointing Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is arguing against voting rights reform.    McConnell took to the podium to highlight a series of bizarre remarks Biden made on Tuesday like when he compared supporters of the voting rights bill to civil rights icons and foes to segregationists.    The Kentucky Republican said Biden must stop pushing false hysteria and rage on Americans.
“Every single major legislative effort that the President has undertaken, that that he’s been a part of, has been subjected to all manner of speculation and criticism about whether it would happen or not,” Psaki continued.    “And if the President paid attention to that, he probably wouldn’t have run for president to begin with.”
The White House official then claimed Biden is not paying attention to critics of his agenda.    She also accused Republicans of trying to make it more difficult to vote regarding efforts in many states to pass voter integrity laws.

The protest has been endorsed by Dr. Robert Malone, a virologist and inventor of MRNA vaccine, as well as Professor Peter McCullough, a nationally recognized and board-certified cardiologist, who have both challenged official narratives of COVID-19.
“Washington DC, between the Washington monument and Lincoln Memorial, so this it the Defeat the mandate, an American homecoming rally,” stated Dr. Malone.
Rally organizers unveiled a list of speakers at the protest, which includes Dr. Malone and more than a dozen of top epidemiologists and medical doctors.    The rally is slated for Sunday, January 23.

1/16/2022 Biden administration’s prosecution of Assange is a serious mistake - Recall that press serves the citizens, not the government - Your Turn by James Miller and Peter S. Fosl Guest columnists
With the December decision by a UK court overturning an earlier ruling against extradition, it’s looking increasingly likely that Julian Assange will return to the U.S. to face charges related to Wikileaks’ 2009-10 publication of over 700,000 documents that Chelsea Manning stole from the U.S. military.    For both legal and political reasons, the Biden administration’s decision to pursue this prosecution is a serious mistake.
As a matter of law, Assange has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion.    But Assange did not conspire to hack U.S. computers — Manning already had access.    Assange’s failed attempt to help generate a password to login through another account was for the purpose of hiding Manning’s identity, not gaining access to the files.
Journalists not only frequently encourage sources to divulge information; they also help sources hide their identities.    Indeed, journalists are obligated to do so when sources face 'danger, retribution or other harm,' according to the Society of Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics.    The New York Times, e.g., maintains a web page giving advice and encouragement of precisely that kind: nytimes.com/tips.
Assange is also charged with 17 counts of espionage, but no reasonable person can interpret what Assange did as espionage.    Unlike Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard, Assange, so far as we know, did not act as the agent of a foreign power.    He did not sell or attempt to sell the purloined documents he acquired.    He simply made them publicly available through Wikileaks.    It’s not illegal to do that; nor should it be.
Politicians and laypeople alike should remember that the press serves the citizens, not the government.    As the Supreme Court explained in its Pentagon Papers ruling: 'The press was protected [by the Founders] so that it could bare the secrets of government and inform the people.    Only a free and unrestrained press can effectively expose deception in government.    And paramount among the responsibilities of a free press is the duty to prevent any part of the government from deceiving the people and sending them off to distant lands to die of foreign fevers and foreign shot and shell.'
Many have claimed that Assange placed U.S. personnel and agents in danger, but the government acquitted Manning of aiding the enemy.    And while a few diplomatic careers were damaged, no evidence shows that the leak resulted in deaths or injuries.    On the other hand, the documents Manning gave Assange detail apparent war crimes, such as the torture of prisoners and unlawful attacks on Iraqi civilians.    That information clearly serves U.S. citizens as a brake on state power.
It’s also important to remember that foreigners are not U.S. vassals.    While it may be unpleasant for us to acknowledge, as a foreigner politically opposed to the U.S. wars against Iraq and Afghanistan, Assange is under absolutely no obligation to respect the U.S. military’s secrecy classifications.
Furthermore, the motive for the prosecution seems based on revenge, not rule of law.    In 2016 — after the Obama administration decided not to prosecute Assange because of the First Amendment implications — Assange leaked John Podesta’s emails, which exposed Democratic Party malfeasance in undermining the progressive upsurge led by Bernie Sanders.    That information may have contributed to Hillary Clinton failing to ascend to the presidency.
In light of the enraged frustration Democrats suffered in the wake of their catastrophic loss in 2016, it’s not unreasonable to suspect that the Biden administration’s decision to prosecute Assange on grounds the Obama administration rejected is motivated by a lust for partisan retribution and not impartial devotion to justice.
James Miller teaches journalism and civil rights law at duPont Manual High School.    Peter S. Fosl is a professor of philosophy at Transylvania University.

WARSAW (Reuters) – Former Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko said on Sunday he planned to return to Ukraine on Monday despite the threat of arrest in a treason case he says was trumped up by allies of current President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
Poroshenko’s return sets up a showdown with Zelenskiy’s government in what critics say is an ill-judged distraction at a time when Ukraine is bracing for a possible Russian military offensive and appealing to Western allies for support.
Western diplomats have called for political unity in Ukraine ahead of Poroshenko’s arrival.
Poroshenko is being investigated for alleged treason linked to the financing of Russian-backed separatist fighters through illegal coal sales while in office in 2014-15. His party accused Zelenskiy of a reckless attempt to silence political opposition.
“If you ask me if I will be arrested, definitely not.    Not because I am so confident but because I have no, absolutely zero reason for tha…I return to Ukraine to fight for Ukraine, not to fight with Zelenskiy,” Poroshenko told reporters in Warsaw.
Zelenskiy’s administration has distanced itself from the investigation, saying the prosecutors and judiciary are independent and accusing Poroshenko of thinking he was above the law.
On Friday, Zelenskiy’s chief of staff Andriy Yermak batted away suggestions that Zelenskiy was behaving like the Russian-backed former president Viktor Yanukovich, whose political rival Yulia Tymoshenko was jailed in December 2010.
Ukraine and its allies have sounded the alarm about tens of thousands of Russian troops massed near its borders.
After days of diplomacy last week achieved no breakthrough, the United States said on Friday Russia was preparing a pretext for an attack, something the Kremlin dismissed as “unfounded.”
“At this time more than ever it seems to me that all political leaders in #ukraine need to show unity, avoiding actions that may polarise,” Melinda Simmons, the British ambassador to Ukraine, said in a tweet on Saturday.
“We are demanding unity of the whole democratic forces to protect Ukraine…I am absolutely optimistic about the possibility of this unity, of democratic, responsible opposition forces,” Poroshenko said.
Poroshenko’s return to Kyiv from Warsaw on Monday coincides with the whistle-stop visit from the new German foreign minister, who will then head to Moscow for talks on Tuesday.
A confectionary tycoon and one of Ukraine’s richest citizens, Poroshenko was elected as head of a pro-Western government after the 2014 Maidan street protests ousted Yanukovich.
Relations between Ukraine and Russia collapsed after Russia’s annexation of Crimea and support for separatist fighters in a war in eastern Ukraine that broke out the same year.
Zelenskiy trounced Poroshenko in a landslide election in 2019 on a ticket to tackle corruption and curb the influence of oligarchs in the former Soviet republic.
Prosecutors in December asked a Ukrainian court to arrest Poroshenko, with the possibility of bail set at 1 billion hryvnia ($37 million).

1/25/2022 Dershowitz: Jan. 6 Committee Similar To McCarthyism Witch-Hunt by OAN Newsroom

at NEP Studios on February 3, 2016 in New York City. (Photo by John Lamparski/Getty Images)
A Harvard Law professor compared the January 6 Committee to a tactic used in the 1950s to oust accused communists who had no actual ties to the party.    Legal scholar Alan Dershowitz said the panel is not a valid congressional body and it’s actually in violation of legislative rules.
“It reminds me a little bit of McCarthyism, where you had committees like the House Un-American Activities Committee, which didn’t have an appropriate legislative purpose,” he explained.    “They were just trying to subpoena people for political and ideological purposes.”
In a recent interview with Breitbart, Dershowitz said the panel is being used by Democrats to target political opponents similar to the witch-hunts of 1950s McCarthyism era.    This refers to the vocal campaigns against alleged communists believed to be in federal institutions who would go on to be blacklisted or fired from their positions despite not having any real ties to communism.
Dershowitz added, former President Donald Trump’s assertions of executive privilege are valid, but the Supreme Court has yet to affirm that.
“But what the Supreme Court has so far said, it hasn’t decided the course and that is whether or not an incumbent president can deny the right of a prior president to assert executive privilege over conversations he had while he was in the office,” he explained.    “The answer to that should be clear and unanimous by the Supreme Court.    Of course, the former or old president has the right to assert executive privilege, otherwise privilege is meaningless.”
Dershowitz went on to say actions of the January 6 Committee are eroding executive privilege, which may result in future presidents being unable to make urgent decisions.    He warned the tough decision will be outlining which conversations fall under executive privilege and which don’t.
The law professor added that the rulings made on a person-by-person document by document basis that the Supreme Court has been proceeding may ultimately challenge the court’s legitimacy.        However, Dershowitz admitted he’s not completely unbiased when it comes to this subject.
“I’m involved in one such case, so I’m a little biased,” said the law professor.    “I’m representing the people from the MyPillow company who are subject to a subpoena and we are challenging that subpoena on a variety of grounds.    And so, I’m not a neutral or constitutionally objective analyst when it comes to that.    I don’t want to put my own bias on the table.”
Since the Supreme Court shot down Trump’s request to bar the Democrat-led panel from receiving documents from his office, the select committee has obtained those materials.    They have yet to make the documents public or even given an update on how far they have delved into them.
Dershowitz is not the first person to question the legitimacy of the panel with several raising concerns of the potential for political bias among its members.

Several people were killed in a U.S. Special Forces counterterrorism raid against a top ISIS leader in Northwest Syria.    Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said there were no U.S. casualties in what has been deemed a “successful mission.”    The goal of the raid was to eliminate ISIS commander Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi, also known as Haji Abdullah, near the Turkish border Thursday.    Haji Abdullah was reportedly wearing a suicide vest that detonated during the raid.
Intelligence showed that Haji Abdullah usually surrounded himself with women and children, so the decision was made to send in a special ops unit. This offered greater danger to U.S. personnel, but less chance of civilian casualties than airstrikes.    Local residents said helicopters hovered overhead asking women and children to leave the area on loudspeakers.    Despite this, six children and four women were reportedly among the 13 dead.
Thursday’s operation appears to be the largest of its kind by U.S. forces in the region since Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in a special operations raid in 2019.
While speaking from the Roosevelt Room Thursday, Joe Biden briefly commented on the situation despite the importantance of the mission.    He didn’t take questions following his remarks and, instead, said he was late for his plane to New York where he was headed to discuss a new anti-gun task force.

2/12/2022 Senators: CIA has secret data stash on Americans - Lawmakers demand details about program by Nomaan Merchant, ASSOCIATED PRESS
WASHINGTON – The CIA has a secret, undisclosed data repository that includes information collected about Americans, two Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee said.    Although neither the agency nor lawmakers would disclose specifics about the data, the senators alleged the CIA had long hidden details about the program from the public and Congress.
Sens. Ron Wyden of Oregon and Martin Heinrich of New Mexico sent a letter to top intelligence officials calling for more details about the program to be declassified.    Large parts of the letter, which was sent in April 2021 and declassified Thursday, and documents released by the CIA were blacked out.    Wyden and Heinrich said the program operated “outside the statutory framework that Congress and the public believe govern this collection.”
There have long been concerns about what information the intelligence community collects domestically, driven in part by previous violations of Americans’ civil liberties.    The CIA and National Security Agency have a foreign mission and are generally barred from investigating Americans or U.S. businesses.    But the spy agencies’ sprawling collection of foreign communications often snares Americans’ messages and data incidentally.
Intelligence agencies are required to take steps to protect U.S. information, including redacting the names of any Americans from reports unless they are deemed relevant to an investigation.    The process of removing redactions is known as “unmasking.”
“CIA recognizes and takes very seriously our obligation to respect the privacy and civil liberties of U.S. persons in the conduct of our vital national security mission,” Kristi Scott, the agency’s privacy and civil liberties officer, said in a statement.    “CIA is committed to transparency consistent with our obligation to protect intelligence sources and methods.”
The CIA released a series of redacted recommendations about the program issued by a panel known as the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board.    The document details a pop-up box that warns CIA analysts using the program that seeking information about U.S. citizens or others covered by privacy laws requires a foreign intelligence purpose.
“However, analysts are not required to memorialize the justification for their queries,” the board said.
Both senators have long pushed for more transparency from the intelligence agencies.    Nearly a decade ago, a question Wyden posed to the nation’s spy chief presaged critical revelations about the NSA’s mass-surveillance programs.
In 2013, Wyden asked then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper if the NSA collected “any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans.”    Clapper initially responded, “No.”    He later said, “Not wittingly.”
Former systems administrator Edward Snowden later that year revealed the NSA’s access to bulk data through U.S. internet companies and hundreds of millions of call records from telecommunications providers.    Those revelations sparked worldwide controversy and new legislation in Congress.
Clapper later apologized in a letter to the Senate Intelligence Committee, calling his response to Wyden “clearly erroneous.”

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden warned his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that the United States and its allies would “respond decisively” if Russia “further” invaded Ukraine, the White House said on Saturday.
The leaders spoke on a secure call for about an hour on Saturday morning regarding the troop buildup around Ukraine, a White House official said on Saturday.
“President Biden reiterated that a further Russian invasion of Ukraine would produce widespread human suffering and diminish Russia’s standing,” the White House said.
A U.S. official said the call produced no fundamental change and it was unclear if Russia would pursue diplomacy or military action.
While the United States was prepared to engage in diplomacy, Washington remained “equally prepared for other scenarios,” the White House added.

2/14/2022 Durham’s Latest Findings Get Little Coverage From Mainstream Media by OAN Newsroom

U.S. Attorney John Durham. Tasked with examining the U.S. government’s investigation into Russian election
interference, special counsel John Durham charged a prominent cybersecurity lawyer on Thursday,
Sept. 16, 2021, with making a false statement to the FBI. (U.S. Department of Justice via AP Photo)
Donald Trump said Special Counsel John Durham has revealed top Democrats actually spied on the President of the United States.    In a series of statements on Sunday, the 45th president said Hillary Clinton and Democrats committed a far bigger crime than Watergate, which is an insult to the American people.
Trump pointed out, it will be interesting to see what the media and RINOs like Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) will do about it.    His comments come as Durham has found Clinton paid hackers to breach Trump Tower servers to create a fake connection to Russia and have the media report about it.
Trump is now calling for criminal prosecution of all Democrats involved in manufacturing the Russia hoax.    Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said Trump is right on target calling for criminal prosecution of Democrats involved in its fabrication.
The Ohio lawmaker said Durham has confirmed Hillary Clinton and her allies were spying on the 2016 Trump campaign and his administration.    He added, the scope of malign activities by the Democrats is found to be worse than previously thought.    Jordan noted, illegal activity by Clinton and Democrats undermines faith in U.S. politics.
“The conspiracy theory and misinformation came from Adam Schiff, the Democrats and the mainstream press,” said the Republican congressman.    “Schiff said there is more than circumstantial evidence that President Trump worked with the Russians.    That was false, completely false.    The media reported it.    It’s proven to be false…there is certainly now more than circumstantial evidence that the Democrats and the FBI and the Clinton campaign spied on President Trump’s campaign…they’re the ones peddling the false narratives all the time.”
Investigative reporter Glenn Greenwald also criticized mainstream media for under-reporting these latest findings.    He posted a summary of Durham’s most recent filing challenging people to find “liberal outlets covering it.”    The journalist also said one of Durham’s key suspects is now the Biden administration’s National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, adding this may be one reason the media is not covering Durham’s findings.
GOP Representatives Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) and Steve Scalise (R-La.) have also called out the mainstream media for not covering the latest reported developments in the Durham probe.    In a tweet Sunday, Stefanik said the media is not making a peep about reports of the Clinton campaign paying operatives to infiltrate Trump Tower and White House servers.    The New York lawmaker contended this is the “biggest political corruption story of our lifetime.”
Scalise, for his part, blasted the media for running with the Russia collusion hoax while sitting silently on this massive scandal.

A majority of Democrats want Hillary Clinton to be investigated for her role in the alleged invasion of 45th President Donald Trump’s campaign servers.    According to data from a Techno Metrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP) survey released on Monday, 66 percent of Democrats wanted an investigation even before the bombshell filing by John Durham.
Those also in favor of probe into Clinton included 75 percent of Americans who followed the Durham investigation, 91 percent of Republicans and 65 percent of independents.    TIPP’s poll also found a majority of voters want more scrutiny placed on the Biden family, specifically walling off Hunter and Jim Biden off from any business involving the administration.
Meanwhile, former Democrat congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard slammed Hillary Clinton amid reports of alleged spying by her campaign on the Trump campaign in the 2016 election.    In an interview Monday, she accused Clinton of manufacturing the “Russia collusion lie” and actively undermining democracy.
The Durham investigation makes clear that Hillary Clinton and the power elite spied on the Trump campaign and White House, undermining our democracy, launching us into a new Cold War, endangering America and the world,” noted the congresswoman.    “Clinton and her warmongers must be held accountable."
The former presidential candidate contended Clinton was motivated by selfish ambition and a desire for power and asserted she needs to be held accountable.    Gabbard also warned people integral in propagating claims of Russia collusion, like National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, are now shaping foreign policy in the Biden administration.

2/15/2021 GOP Senators Call For An End To COVID-19 State Of Emergency by OAN Newsroom

GOP lawmakers are stressing it’s time to move on from the COVID-19 pandemic. On Monday, a handful of senators, including Mike Lee (R-Utah), Roger Marshall (R-Kansas), Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.), sent a letter to their colleagues urging them to not help Democrats push a continuing resolution to fund the federal government unless Democrats defund vaccine mandates.     The lawmakers pointed out these mandates pose tremendous social and economic costs on American families.    They decried such actions as unconstitutional, unlawful and an abuse of federal power.    The GOP senators added, while Joe Biden has not sought the enforcement of vaccine mandates since the U.S. Supreme Court struck down OSHA’s mandate on federal workers, he could push another mandate in the future.     Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) echoed these calls while claiming the Biden administration has forgone scientific evidence to promote a restrictive agenda.     “They’ve got the list of boxes they have to check off,” she explained.    “We’ve killed the Keystone pipeline.    We’ve got mandates.    We’ve got people in masks.    We’ve got people in lockdowns.    They’re going to lose their job if they don’t go get a jab.    They’ve got an agenda. For all of this bluster about fundamentally transforming our way of life, all Joe Biden has managed to do is to alienate his fellow countrymen.”
Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) claimed he and most of Americans believe it’s time to return to normal, adding COVID-19 is here to stay.    The Kentucky lawmaker decried Democrats who support forcing children to mask up at schools while rich celebrities watched the Super Bowl “without a mask in sight.”    McConnell also said it’s absolute bonkers for Democrats to push for zero-COVID while asserting that there’s no reasonable health expert who says that’s possible.
However, the Republican senator commended several Democrat leaders for announcing a rollback on their vaccine and mask mandates as several cities and states, including California, Connecticut, D.C. and New Jersey, plan to return to normal.    McConnell believes this all has nothing to do with the actual science.
“The only science that’s changed in the last two weeks is the political science,” he stated.    “The only data that has changed in the last two weeks is Democrats’ polling data.    The Washington Post put it like this, ‘the abrupt end to mask mandates reflects a shifting political landscape.’    While Democratic leaders are stampeding to finally follow the science and end burdensome mandates on adults, in many places America’s children are still being left behind.”
In the meantime, Sen. Marshall plans to introduce a bill to end the federal state of emergency.    The law would strip away many federal powers to respond to national emergencies under the National Emergency Act, which was invoked by 45th President Donald Trump and then Biden to tackle COVID. Biden extended the emergency order to March 1 and lawmakers are debating whether to further extend the order or return to normal.

2/16/2022 Trump Calls For DOJ To Declassify All Trump-Russia Probe Docs by OAN Newsroom

Hillary Clinton ignored questions from a reporter about her campaign’s surveillance of 45th President Donald Trump.    On Tuesday, she was confronted by a journalist from the Daily Mail who demanded answers about new developments in the Durham probe.
While the bombshell findings seem to have left Clinton speechless, Trump weighed in during an interview on Tuesday.    He stressed this is “just the beginning” of what’s to come.    Trump called on the Justice Department to declassify further details of the so-called Russia probe.
The 45th president said the DOJ should “absolutely” declassify the remaining records in the investigation and pointed out the agency is already under an order to do so.    Trump previously ordered the declassification to begin back in 2019 during his administration, but the Joe’s Biden’s Justice Department appears to have made little progress on the issue.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) fired off a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland requesting more information on why they haven’t followed through on the order.    Meanwhile, several other Republican senators say Clinton campaign operatives will be held accountable for their actions amid the bombshell revelations from the Durham probe.
Specifically, Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) called to hold Clinton accountable for spying on the 2016 Trump campaign and lying about the Russian collusion hoax.    On Tuesday, he said the actions by Clinton-paid operatives uncovered by Special Counsel Durham is illegal and wrong.
The Florida lawmaker also pointed out that Democrat congressmen Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) are complicit in the Russia hoax.    In response, Schiff’s office accused Scott of “misinformation” and it refused to address the subject matter.
Clinton finally broke her silence regarding Durham’s revelations in a Wednesday Twitter post.    She claimed both Trump and the media are “desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones.”    She went on to suggest it’s a lie while sharing an article by Vanity Fair, which she claimed debunks the accusations.

2/17/2022 How A Saudi Woman’s IPhone Revealed Hacking Around The World by Joel Schectman and Christopher Bing
FILE PHOTO: Saudi activist Loujain al-Hathloul makes her way to appear at a special criminal
court for an appeals hearing, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia March 10, 2021. REUTERS/Ahmed Yosri
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A single activist helped turn the tide against NSO Group, one of the world’s most sophisticated spyware companies now facing a cascade of legal action and scrutiny in Washington over damaging new allegations that its software was used to hack government officials and dissidents around the world.
It all started with a software glitch on her iPhone.
An unusual error in NSO’s spyware allowed Saudi women’s rights activist Loujain al-Hathloul and privacy researchers to discover a trove of evidence suggesting the Israeli spyware maker had helped hack her iPhone, according to six people involved in the incident.    A mysterious fake image file within her phone, mistakenly left behind by the spyware, tipped off security researchers.
The discovery on al-Hathloul’s phone last year ignited a storm of legal and government action that has put NSO on the defensive.    How the hack was initially uncovered is reported here for the first time.
Al-Hathloul, one of Saudi Arabia’s most prominent activists, is known for helping lead a campaign to end the ban on women drivers in Saudi Arabia.    She was released from jail in February 2021 on charges of harming national security.
Soon after her release from jail, the activist received an email from Google warning her that state-backed hackers had tried to penetrate her Gmail account. Fearful that her iPhone had been hacked as well, al-Hathloul contacted the Canadian privacy rights group Citizen Lab and asked them to probe her device for evidence, three people close to al-Hathloul told Reuters.
After six months of digging through her iPhone records, Citizen Lab researcher Bill Marczak made what he described as an unprecedented discovery: a malfunction in the surveillance software implanted on her phone had left a copy of the malicious image file, rather than deleting itself, after stealing the messages of its target.
He said the finding, computer code left by the attack, provided direct evidence NSO built the espionage tool.
“It was a game changer,” said Marczak “We caught something that the company thought was uncatchable.”
The discovery amounted to a hacking blueprint and led Apple Inc to notify thousands of other state-backed hacking victims around the world, according to four people with direct knowledge of the incident.
Citizen Lab and al-Hathloul’s find provided the basis for Apple’s November 2021 lawsuit against NSO and it also reverberated in Washington, where U.S. officials learned that NSO’s cyberweapon was used to spy on American diplomats.
In recent years, the spyware industry has enjoyed explosive growth as governments around the world buy phone hacking software that allows the kind of digital surveillance once the purview of just a few elite intelligence agencies.
Over the past year, a series of revelations from journalists and activists, including the international journalism collaboration Pegasus Project, has tied the spyware industry to human rights violations, fueling greater scrutiny of NSO and its peers.
But security researchers say the al-Hathloul discovery was the first to provide a blueprint of a powerful new form of cyberespionage, a hacking tool that penetrates devices without any interaction from the user, providing the most concrete evidence to date of the scope of the weapon.
In a statement, an NSO spokesperson said the company does not operate the hacking tools it sells – “government, law enforcement and intelligence agencies do.”    The spokesperson did not answer questions on whether its software was used to target al-Hathloul or other activists.
But the spokesperson said the organizations making those claims were “political opponents of cyber intelligence,” and suggested some of the allegations were “contractually and technologically impossible.”    The spokesperson declined to provide specifics, citing client confidentiality agreements.
Without elaborating on specifics, the company said it had an established procedure to investigate alleged misuse of its products and had cut off clients over human rights issues.
DISCOVERING THE BLUEPRINT
Al-Hathloul had good reason to be suspicious – it was not the first time she was being watched.
A 2019 Reuters investigation revealed that she was targeted in 2017 by a team of U.S. mercenaries who surveilled dissidents on behalf of the United Arab Emirates under a secret program called Project Raven, which categorized her as a “national security threat” and hacked into her iPhone.
She was arrested and jailed in Saudi Arabia for almost three years, where her family says she was tortured and interrogated utilizing information stolen from her device.    Al-Hathloul was released in February 2021 and is currently banned from leaving the country.
Reuters has no evidence NSO was involved in that earlier hack.
Al-Hathloul’s experience of surveillance and imprisonment made her determined to gather evidence that could be used against those who wield these tools, said her sister Lina al-Hathloul.    “She feels she has a responsibility to continue this fight because she knows she can change things.”
The type of spyware Citizen Lab discovered on al-Hathloul’s iPhone is known as a “zero click,” meaning the user can be infected without ever clicking on a malicious link.
Zero-click malware usually deletes itself upon infecting a user, leaving researchers and tech companies without a sample of the weapon to study.    That can make gathering hard evidence of iPhone hacks almost impossible, security researchers say.
    But this time was different.
The software glitch left a copy of the spyware hidden on al-Hathloul’s iPhone, allowing Marczak and his team to obtain a virtual blueprint of the attack and evidence of who had built it.
“Here we had the shell casing from the crime scene,” he said.
Marczak and his team found that the spyware worked in part by sending picture files to al-Hathloul through an invisible text message.
The image files tricked the iPhone into giving access to its entire memory, bypassing security and allowing the installation of spyware that would steal a user’s messages.
The Citizen Lab discovery provided solid evidence the cyberweapon was built by NSO, said Marczak, whose analysis was confirmed by researchers from Amnesty International and Apple, according to three people with direct knowledge of the situation.
The spyware found on al-Hathloul’s device contained code that showed it was communicating with servers Citizen Lab previously identified as controlled by NSO, Marczak said. Citizen Lab named this new iPhone hacking method “ForcedEntry.”    The researchers then provided the sample to Apple last September.
Having a blueprint of the attack in hand allowed Apple to fix the critical vulnerability and led them to notify thousands of other iPhone users who were targeted by NSO software, warning them they had been targeted by “state-sponsored attackers.”
It was the first time Apple had taken this step.
While Apple determined the vast majority were targeted through NSO’s tool, security researchers also discovered spy software from a second Israeli vendor QuaDream leveraged the same iPhone vulnerability, Reuters reported earlier this month.    QuaDream has not responded to repeated requests for comment.
The victims ranged from dissidents critical of Thailand’s government to human rights activists in El Salvador.
Citing the findings obtained from al-Hathloul’s phone, Apple sued NSO in November in federal court alleging the spyware maker had violated U.S. laws by building products designed “to target, attack, and harm Apple users, Apple products, and Apple.”
Apple credited Citizen Lab with providing “technical information” used as evidence for the lawsuit, but did not reveal that it was originally obtained from al-Hathloul’s iPhone.
NSO said its tools have assisted law enforcement and have saved “thousands of lives.”    The company said some of the allegations attributed to NSO software were not credible, but declined to elaborate on specific claims citing confidentiality agreements with its clients.
Among those Apple warned were at least nine U.S. State Department employees in Uganda who were targeted with NSO software, according to people familiar with the matter, igniting a fresh wave of criticism against the company in Washington.
In November, the U.S. Commerce Department placed NSO on a trade blacklist, restricting American companies from selling the Israeli firm software products, threatening its supply chain.
The Commerce Department said the action was based on evidence that NSO’s spyware was used to target “journalists, businesspeople, activists, academics, and embassy workers.”
In December, Democratic Senator Ron Wyden and 17 other lawmakers called for the Treasury Department to sanction NSO Group and three other foreign surveillance companies they say helped authoritarian governments commit human rights abuses.
“When the public saw you had U.S. government figures getting hacked, that quite clearly moved the needle,” Wyden told Reuters in an interview, referring to the targeting of U.S. officials in Uganda.
Lina al-Hathloul, Loujain’s sister, said the financial blows to NSO might be the only thing that can deter the spyware industry.    “It hit them where it hurts,” she said.

President Joe Biden is ordering the release of Trump White House visitor logs to the House committee investigating the assault Jan.6, 2021, once more rejecting former President Donald Trump’s claims of executive privilege.
The committee has sought a trove of data from the National Archives, including presidential records that Trump had fought to keep private.    The records being released to Congress are visitor logs showing appointment information for individuals who were allowed to enter the White House on the day of the insurrection.

2/18/2022 On this day why was OANN being blocked from YouTube?
Not only is OANN being blocked from uploading and live streaming for a week but it’s now unable to earn ad revenue on any of its videos.    To start monetizing its videos again, YouTube is requiring OANN to re-apply to the YouTube Partner Program.    YouTube’s actions also put the OANN channel at risk of deletion if it receives further strikes.
If not for OANN we would never have learned of the two-year investigation into voter tabulation systems.
This news is urgent.    YouTube has suspended ‘One America News Network’ from its platform following a letter from Democrat Senators calling upon the video hosting platform to ban channels spreading election misinformation.
If you're tired of censorship, cancel culture, and the erosion of civil liberties subscribe to Reclaim The Net.    YouTube has suspended One America News Network (OANN) from uploading and live streaming for a week, demonetized its channel, and given it a strike for posting a video that violated YouTube’s strict “COVID-19 misinformation” rules.
OANN is one of the only news outlets, if not the only one, that reports real news.    They have been critical in the post election war of disinformation, lies, and coverup.    What recourse do decent, freedom-loving peoples have?

2/18/2022 Clinton Suggests Durham Report A ‘Wild Conspiracy Theory’ by OAN Newsroom

Hillary Clinton spoke at the New York State Democratic Convention after the Durham probe found evidence she spied on Donald Trump in an attempt to connect his campaign with Russia.
On Thursday, Clinton repeated false claims about January 6 protests and accused Republicans of “inciting violence.”    She then claimed the report by Special Counsel John Durham is a “wild conspiracy theory.”
The former secretary of state also said that New York and the U.S. as a whole need “better leadership” while highlighting high inflation as well as lost businesses.    Her comments fuel the latest speculation of a possible presidential run in 2024.
Clinton was reportedly met with scores of protesters outside the venue who criticized her past policy failures such as Benghazi.

2/19/2022 Clinton lawyer seeks indictment dismissal - Sussmann was charged with misleading the FBI by Eric Tucker, ASSOCIATED PRESS
WASHINGTON – A lawyer for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign who was charged by special counsel John Durham with lying to the FBI during a 2016 meeting asked a judge on Thursday to dismiss the indictment, calling it a case of 'extraordinary prosecutorial overreach.'
Lawyers for Michael Sussmann said that if the indictment were allowed to proceed, it would 'risk criminalizing ordinary conduct, raise First Amendment concerns, dissuade honest citizens from coming forward with tips, and chill the advocacy of lawyers who interact with the government.'
Durham was tasked in 2019 by then-Attorney General William Barr with investigating potential government misconduct during the early days of the investigation into potential coordination between Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russia.    He was given the title of special counsel in 2020, in the final weeks of the Trump administration, to ensure that he could continue his work once Joe Biden became president.
Sussmann is accused of lying to the FBI’s then-general counsel during a September 2016 meeting in which he relayed concerns from cybersecurity researchers about potentially suspicious internet data involving a Russia-based bank and the Trump Organization. Prosecutors say Sussmann misled the FBI by saying during the meeting that he was not acting on behalf of a particular client when he was actually representing the interests of the Clinton campaign and a technology executive who had furnished Sussmann with the data and analysis.
The FBI investigated and ruled out within months the possibility of a secret digital back channel between servers of the Trump Organization and of Russia-based Alfa Bank – a claim that, if true, could have signaled contact between the Trump orbit and Russia at a time when the FBI was already trying to determine if there was such a connection.    The indictment does not charge Sussmann with giving the FBI false information about that matter, but rather about what his lawyers dismissively described as an 'ancillary' issue – who his legal clients were at the time of the meeting.
Sussmann’s lawyers say allowing the indictment to stand would mean that people could be prosecuted for giving an accurate tip to law enforcement if they weren’t upfront about their motivation for doing so.
'If would-be tipsters or sources fear that an incomplete disclosure will subject them to criminal liability, the FBI would be seriously weakened in its ability to gather information from the public, and recruit and maintain confidential human sources,' the motion states.
The motion to dismiss comes just days after a filing by Durham that created an uproar and was mischaracterized in some media reports – and by Trump himself – as having suggested that the former president had been illegally spied on by allies of the Clinton campaign, even though that was not what the document said.
The filing said the company of the tech executive with whom Sussmann had worked, Rodney Joffe, had helped maintain servers for the White House and said he and cybersecurity researchers he was working with had mined internet traffic for the 'purpose of gathering derogatory information' about Trump.
A spokesman for Joffe said he was an 'apolitical internet security expert' who had never worked for a political party and was operating under a contract to identify potential cyberbreaches or threats against the federal government.

[HILLARY THIS CORRUPTION WILL NOT BE RESOLVED IN THE COURT OF THE FAKE NEWS THIS DURHAM WILL TAKE YOU TO A REAL COURTROOM WITH REAL EVIDENCE AND TAKE YOU DOWN SO GET OUT OF YOUR DREAM WORLD AND FACE UP TO IT.].

THE FOLLOWING IS ALL THE IMAGES OF JOE BIDEN AND HILLARY'S CORRUPTION AND IT IS DISGUSTING OF THEIR ACTIONS

Biden's threats are weak and nothing happens but for 13 months now everything he has tried to do has failed
as his administration is alarming like the car above with a 37% approval tells the whole story

And of course he has a son named Hunter who is a crack head on camera and its a shame that the president of the U.S. would promote what is in the image above.

Another policy blunder caused all prices rising causing American families to lose more of their budgets affecting them to pass on vacations and other purchases which will cause stock markets begin to fall.

And at the same time Biden's choice to be the one to make sure the unload of ships at ports was too busy to resolve the backlog to get inland to the stores and food facilities another screw up.

AND NOW WE BELIEVE THAT THE CRIMES OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS FINALLY IN MOTION AFTER ALMOST 5 YEARS
As you see above Hillary got a big surprise that she has been busted by Durham busters.

If you did not believe that the FAKE NEWS and NPR has been corrupt and not giving America the real news in the image below you can see
they were not prepared to answer it since this is a prosecutor who is hard at work and getting it done now
and it took them 3 days to come up with a spin to deny it but the facts are there and he is only getting started and the culprits who are part of it.

So as you see above is Jake Sullivan who is now Joe Bidens National Security Advisor which is proof if those
who do criminal activity during the Obama administration transition that they pay you back with top jobs

So the Hillary Clinton has spied on the Trump administrtion before his transition and even after he was in the White House
and had the FBI involved in the cover up of her missing computer, and eventually used illegal FISA surveillance
to spy on any one associated with Trump's administration and the below three images is what Durham found to prosecute

Of course she is using the FAKE NEWS to try her previous attemp to try ot cover it up

But as you see in the image above the public has caught onto the corruption and scream "LOCK HER UP"

As you see below as well a Hillary Clinton, who had the following Jake Sullivan, Michael Sussmann, Rodney Joffe and Marc Elias and I suspect that there is a whole list will be added to this before it is over

Former congressman Ron Paul and his colleague Daniel McAdams are criticizing Joe Biden for shifting blame about inflation.    While speaking on the Liberty Report Wednesday, Dr. Paul pointed out Biden is telling Americans they will face even higher inflation to defend the Ukrainian government.    This comes as U.S. inflation rose to almost 8 percent over the past year.
Paul said Biden’s inflation happened due to his poor economic policies at home while foreign affairs is not the main reason.    He went on to say the speculation of war and excessive focus on foreign policy are partially used to justify of economic problems facing America.
Meanwhile, Paul’s colleague, McAdams, pointed out Biden’s latest claim about inflation run in stark contrast with his comments at a press conference last November when he was confronted by a reporter about inflation.    McAdams and Dr. Paul criticized Biden’s shifting narrative and maintain the root cause of inflation is not that complicated.
Paul says excessive government spending continues to be the driver of inflation.    He suggested Biden and the rest of Congress must simply stop the reckless spending and warned the average American is the one who ultimately pays the price.

(Reuters) – Meta Platforms said a hacking group used Facebook to target a handful of public figures in Ukraine, including prominent military officials, politicians and a journalist, amid Russia’s ongoing invasion of the country.     Meta said in the last 48 hours it had also separately removed a network of about 40 fake accounts, groups and pages across Facebook and Instagram that operated from Russia and Ukraine targeting people in Ukraine, for violating its rules against coordinated inauthentic behavior.
A Twitter spokesperson said it had also suspended more than a dozen accounts and blocked the sharing of several links for violating its rules against platform manipulation and spam.    It said its ongoing investigation indicated the accounts originated in Russia and were attempting to disrupt the public conversation around the conflict in Ukraine.
In a blog post on Monday, Meta attributed the hacking efforts to a group known as Ghostwriter, which it said successfully gained access to the targets’ social media accounts.    Meta said the hackers attempted to post YouTube videos from the accounts portraying Ukrainian troops as weakened, including one video which claimed to show Ukrainian soldiers coming out of a forest and flying a white flag of surrender.
Ukrainian cybersecurity officials said on Friday that hackers from neighboring Belarus were targeting the private email addresses of Ukrainian military personnel “and related individuals,” blaming group code-named “UNC1151.”    The U.S. cybersecurity firm FireEye has previously connected the group with Ghostwriter activities.
Meta’s security team said it had taken steps to secure targeted accounts and had blocked the phishing domains used by the hackers.    It declined to give the names of any of the targets but said it had alerted users where possible.
Meta said the separate influence campaign, which used a number of fictitious personas, claimed to be based in Kyiv and ran a small number of websites masquerading as independent news outlets.    These outlets published claims about the West betraying Ukraine and Ukraine being a failed state.
The company said it had found links between this influence network and an operation it removed in April 2020, which it had connected to individuals in Russia, the Donbass region in Ukraine and two media outlets based in Crimea – NewsFront and SouthFront, which are now sanctioned by the U.S. government Neither NewsFront or SouthFront immediately responded to requests for comment.
Meta declined to give a number of impressions or views for the influence campaign’s content but said it had seen a “very low level” of shares, posts or reactions.    It said the campaign had fewer than 4,000 Facebook accounts following one of more of its pages and fewer than 500 accounts following one or more of its Instagram accounts.    It did not say how long the campaigns had been active on its platforms.
It said the campaign had also used Alphabet Inc’s YouTube, Telegram and Russian social media sites Odnoklassniki and VK.    YouTube, Telegram and VK , which also owns Odnoklassniki, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The crisis in Ukraine has seen escalating clashes between Moscow and major tech companies.    On Friday, Russia said it would partially restrict access to Facebook, a move Meta said came after it refused a government request to stop the independent fact-checking of several Russian state media outlets.    On Saturday, Twitter also said its service was being restricted for some Russian users.
Ukraine’s health ministry said on Sunday that more than 300 children, had been killed since the beginning of the invasion.
Russia calls its actions in Ukraine a “special operation.”
Ukraine has been buffeted by digital intrusions and denial-of-service actions both in the run-up to and during the Russian invasion.    Several big tech companies have announced measures to bolster the security and privacy of their users in the country.
Meta, which has in recent days made changes like removing the ability to view and search the friends lists of Facebook accounts in Ukraine, said on Monday it was also making this change in Russia in response to public reports of civil society and protesters being targeted.

3/10/2022 New York Times Reporter Admits Jan. 6 Protests Were Exaggerated by OAN Newsroom

A New York Times reporter was caught admitting the coverage of the January 6 protest was over exaggerated.    During an undercover Project Veritas video released on Wednesday, New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg was captured criticizing the left’s reaction to the Capitol Hill protests and even mocking some of his colleagues who were “emotionally scarred.”
In the video, Rosenberg is seen privately ranting about the news establishment’s continuous coverage of the event while calling it “overblown in its reliance on fear and trauma.”    He commented that he “was so over it at this point.”    Rosenberg witnessed the protests first hand, admitting there were FBI informants among the people who attacked the capitol.
The undercover conversation covered how journalists pitched January 6 pieces for the New York Times, revealing they were obligated to keep up the polarizing narrative between left and right wing politics.    The reporter confessed the capitol protests was not an organized event despite what he and left wing media outlets led the public to believe.
“The left’s reaction to it (January 6), in some places, was so over the top,” he stated.    “It was like me and two other colleagues who were there, who were outside, and we were just having fun…we were not in any danger.”
As the conversation progressed, Rosenberg spoke on the divide between reporters at the left leaning paper, saying he’s not impressed with the writing quality of his some of colleagues.    He also elaborated how ivy league schools and liberal ideas have seeped into the work of journalists, acknowledging the woke generation is getting worse.
Furthermore, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe later confronted Rosenberg about his remarks to which Rosenberg replied he “absolutely stands by his comments.”

3/10/2022 Biden Touts Electric Vehicles As Gas Prices Surge by OAN Newsroom

Joe Biden attempted to drum up support for electric cars as the national gas price average hit a record high.     While speaking at a ‘Made in America’ event on Wednesday, he claimed Americans will not need fossil fuels to drive a car and suggested they use alternative methods of transportation.
“We don’t need to propel most of what we have in the future with regard to oil products,” Biden stated. “And, you know, I was really pleased when we met the the CEOs of the automobile companies.”
The President then claimed he helped convince General Motors CEO, Mary Barra to drop her lawsuit against California for setting higher emission regulations than the national standard.    Biden also dismissed concerns about surging gas prices despite everyday Americans with traditional vehicles struggling to fill up their tanks.
Additionally, Biden falsely claimed U.S. gas prices went down by 14 percent in one day.    The average U.S. gas price rose to $4.25 earlier in the day, which was up from $4.17 the day before and $3.46 a month ago.
Biden’s remarks come as analysts advise drivers to gear up for high gas prices until at least Labor Day and predicted the national average could easily jump to $4.50 a gallon in the coming weeks.    However, some reports have claimed a $5 per gallon national average is a real possibility in the near future.

3/11/2022 Project Veritas Questions Possible Media-Govt. Collusion On Jan. 6 by OAN Newsroom

The latest report by Project Veritas is raising questions about possible collusion between the mainstream media and government agencies to discredit Donald Trump and Republican voters. A new investigation by the non-profit journalism enterprise revealed mainstream media knew that FBI informants were inside the capitol during the January 6 protest.
The latest expose features confessions by Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg who has covered the capitol protest as a “matter on national security.”    However, Rosenberg now admits the entire January 6 narrative was greatly exaggerated or even made up.
Over the past year, Rosenberg has written stories painting the capitol protest as a pre-mediated conspiracy by Donald Trump and friends to “subvert” American democracy.    For example, on February 1 last year his article claims “a lie the former president had been grooming for years overwhelmed the Republican Party and stoked the assault on the capitol.”    However now Rosenberg says nobody was in danger during that protest, including mainstream media reporters who went inside the capitol
.
The New York Times reporter also spoke about FBI presence at the January 6 rally, which in the past raised questions by Republican lawmakers.    In particular, Rep. Matt Gaetz and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene have voiced concerns the breach of U.S. Capitol could be a ploy to discredit Republican voters.
Meanwhile, Rosenberg appeared to suggest the New York Times editorial stance on the matter is shifting towards downplaying those events as if it’s no big deal.    He went on to suggest slanted January 6 coverage is only part of a greater narrative aimed at attacking and discrediting Donald Trump.    This includes attacks on Trump before the 2016 election, during his time in office and beyond.
Rosenberg’s confessions suggest mainstream media is presenting wishful thinking of its writers as factual news, which it is not.    Meanwhile, potential efforts by federal agencies to manipulate public opinion may pose a greater concern moving forward.
[AND OF COURSE NANCY PELOSI AND HER HENCHMEN WHO ARE CONTINUING TO TRY TO CREATE A REAL ISSUE SO THEY CAN ATTACK TRUMP AGAIN BUT I HATE TO TELL HER IF SHE ATTEMPTS IT SHE WILL END UP LOOKING LIKE A FOOL FOR THE 4TH TIME AND IF THEY HAD VALID INFORMATION WOULD HAVE ALREADY DID IT SO NOW THEY ARE RELEASING FAKE INFO TO THE PRESS TO KEEP THE IDIOTS WHO BELIEVE THEM ON A LEASH UNTIL MIDTERM ELECTIONS IN HOPE THE FBI CAN FIND SOMETHNG TO PUT OUT.].

3/14/2022 WikiLeaks’ Assange Denied Permission To Appeal Extradition Decision At UK Supreme Court

LONDON (Reuters) - WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been denied permission to appeal at Britain’s Supreme Court against a decision to extradite him to the United States, the court said on Monday.
While Assange’s extradition must still be approved by the government, Monday’s decision deals a serious blow to Assange’s effort to fight his deportation from Britain in the courts.
U.S. authorities want Australian-born Assange, 50, to face trial on 18 counts relating to WikiLeaks’ release of vast troves of confidential U.S. military records and diplomatic cables which they said had put lives in danger.
In December, the High Court in London overturned a lower court’s ruling that he should not be extradited because his mental health problems meant he would be at risk of suicide, and on Monday the Supreme Court itself said it would not hear a challenge to that ruling.
“The application has been refused by the Supreme Court and the reason given is that application did not raise an arguable point of law,” a spokesperson for Britain’s Supreme Court said.
The extradition decision will now need to be ratified by interior minister Priti Patel, after which Assange can try to challenge the decision by judicial review.    A judicial review involves a judge examining the legitimacy of a public body’s decision.
An interior ministry spokesperson said it would not be appropriate to comment on the court’s decision.
The High Court had accepted a package of assurances given by the United States, including that Assange would not be held in a so-called “ADX” maximum security prison in Colorado and that he could be transferred to Australia to serve his sentence if convicted.
Assange’s lawyers said the decision to extradite Assange based on those pledges was “highly disturbing.”
“We regret that the opportunity has not been taken to consider the troubling circumstances in which Requesting States can provide caveated guarantees after the conclusion of a full evidential hearing,” Assange’s lawyers said in a statement on Monday.

3/15/2022 Rep. Malinowski Says Parental Rights Activists Just Want To Ban Books by OAN Newsroom

a hearing on Capitol Hill in Washington. (Ken Cedeno/Pool via AP, File)
Embattled Democrat Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-N.J.) says parents opposed to far-left ideologies being pushed in schools are just a part of a fringe movement.    During a town hall event in New Jersey recently, the lawmaker claimed Florida’s Parental Eights in Education bill is going to lead to an increase in youth deaths.
Malinowski added, parents opposed to critical race theory and gender theory in schools are just seeking power and are trying to distract from “real issues” like so-called climate change.    The representative went on to suggest that those asking for parental rights are trying to ban books while supporting gun violence.
“When I was talking about crazy, right, there are a lot of examples,” stated the Democrat.    “And one of the crazy things happening in America right now is you’ve got a political movement that says they care about kids, but the way they express that care is by banning books.    And they don’t want to do a damn thing about the guns.”
Most agree the 2021 red wave was due to increased focus on parental rights issues by Republicans, which could spell trouble for Malinowski who is, after redistricting, in a Republican leaning district.

3/23/2022 WikiLeaks’ Assange To Get Married In Prison

LONDON (Reuters) - WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will marry his long-term partner Stella Moris inside a high-security prison in southeast London on Wednesday at a small ceremony attended by four guests, two official witnesses and two guards.
Assange is being held in jail while U.S. authorities seek his extradition to face trial on 18 counts relating to WikiLeaks’ release of vast troves of confidential U.S. military records and diplomatic cables more than a decade ago.
The 50-year-old Australian, who denies any wrongdoing, has been in Belmarsh prison since 2019 and before that was holed up in the Ecuadorean embassy in London for seven years.
While living at the embassy he fathered two children with Moris, a lawyer more than a decade his junior, whom he met in 2011 when she started work on his legal team.    Their relationship began in 2015.
The registrar-led ceremony will take place during visiting hours at the prison, where some of Britain’s most notorious criminals have served sentences, including child murderer Ian Huntley.
The prison has refused permission for journalists or a photographer to be present as witnesses on security grounds.
“I am convinced that they fear that people will see Julian as a human being,” Moris wrote in an article for the Guardian newspaper.    “Not a name, but a person.    Their fear reveals that they want Julian to remain invisible to the public at all costs, even on his wedding day, and especially on his wedding day.”
She said she was marrying the “love of her life” whom she described a wonderful, intelligent and funny.
Moris’s wedding dress and Assange’s kilt – a nod to his family ties to Scotland – have been created by British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, who has previously campaigned against his extradition.
Assange suffered a blow earlier this month when he was denied permission to launch an appeal at Britain’s Supreme Court against a decision to extradite him.    However, he could still challenge the government’s ratification of the extradition.

3/30/2022 Rep. Gaetz Enters Contents Of Hunter Biden’s Laptop Into Congressional Record by OAN Newsroom

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) submitted the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop hard drive and the receipt from the computer repair shop where it was dropped off into the congressional record.
During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, the conservative firebrand cross examined FBI’s Cyber Division Assistant Director Bryan Vorndran.    The FBI seized the laptop in December of 2019, however, Vorndran claimed he didn’t know where the laptop currently is.    Gaetz pressed the issue and demanded answers.
“How are Americans suppose to trust that you can protect us from the next Colonial Pipeline if it seems that you can’t locate a laptop that was given to you three years ago?” asked the Florida lawmaker.    “So where is it, the laptop?
Further into the hearing, the Republican slammed the assistant director over how little he knew about how compromised the Biden family could potentially be. Vorndran said he was only there to answer questions about the bureau’s cyber program.
“I would think that the President’s son who does international business referencing the now-President with the Chinese, with Ukrainians…I mean have you assessed whether or not the Hunter Biden laptop gives Russia the ability to harm our country?” Gaetz asked.
The assistant director didn’t share who the committee could question about the laptops location or its content on Biden’s international business dealings.    Although there was some resistance from Democrats on the committee, Gaetz was able to go on record with the evidence.
“After consultation with majority staff, I seek unanimous consent to enter into the record of this committee content from files from and copies from the Hunter Biden laptop,” he stated.
On top of this, congressman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) told One America News that he’s laying the groundwork for a probe into the media’s efforts to suppress the laptop story.    If the GOP succeeds in taking control of the lower chamber after the midterms, the door to potentially subpoena Hunter Biden could open.

Peter Schweizer On Hunter Biden Laptop Developments
With the mainstream media finally paying attention to the Hunter Biden laptop story, they are now catching up to what Peter Schweizer has been saying for over a year.    One America’s Stefan Kleinhenz sat down with the Government Accountability Institute president and author of “Red Handed” to discuss the latest developments.

3/31/2022 Insiders say Biden to tap oil reserve to help combat rising energy prices by Zeke Miller and Josh Boak, ASSOCIATED PRESS
WASHINGTON – President Joe Biden is preparing to order the release of up to 1 million barrels of oil per day from the nation’s strategic petroleum reserve, according to two people familiar with the decision, in a bid to control energy prices that have spiked as the U.S. and allies have imposed steep sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.    The announcement could come as soon as Thursday, when the White House says Biden is planning to deliver remarks on his administration’s plans to combat rising gas prices.    The duration of the release hasn’t been finalized but could last for several months.    The people spoke on the condition of anonymity to preview the decision.
High oil prices have not coaxed more production, creating a challenge for Biden.    The president has seen his popularity sink as inflation reached a 40-year high in February and the cost of petroleum and gasoline climbed after Russia invaded Ukraine.
[Gas prices rose because Biden is not allowing oil output in U.S. and the Mideast Nations will not pump oil for him because Trump gave them Nuclear Generation due to earthquakes which formed the Abraham Accord with Israel.]
Crude oil on Wednesday traded at nearly $105 a barrel, up from about $60 a year ago.
Still, oil producers have been more focused on meeting the needs of investors, according to a survey released last week by the Dallas Federal Reserve.    About 59% of the executives surveyed said investor pressure to preserve “capital discipline” amid high prices was the reason they weren’t pumping more, while fewer than 10% blamed government regulation.
The steady release from the reserves would be a meaningful sum and come near to closing the domestic production gap relative to February 2020, before the coronavirus caused a steep decline in oil output.
The Biden administration in November announced the release of 50 million barrels from the strategic reserve in coordination with other countries.
[HERE WE GO AGAIN OBAMA USED ALL 650 MILLION BARRELS UP TO LOWER HIS $6 GAS AND TRUMP HAD TO FILL IT UP TO GO FIGHT ISIS AND GET RID OF THEM WHICH OBAMA CREATED SO JOE BIDEN HAS ALREADY TAKEN 110 MILLION BARRELS OUT AND NOW 1 MILLION BARRELS PER DAY FOR POSSIBLE 60 DAYS ANOTHER 60 MILLION BARRELS A TOTAL OF 170 MILLION BARRELS SO WHEN WILL HE OPEN UP OIL PRODUCTION TO REFILL IT IF WE HAVE WORLD WAR III.    JOE SURE LIKES USING OUR OIL SUPPLIES BUT DOES NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE SUFFERING OF AMERICANS FROM DEMOCRAT POLICIES.].
